Volunteering with the Royal Canadian Legion
Volunteering is a great way to have fun and, at the same time, make a difference in the lives of Veterans and their families. Legion volunteers get to give back to their communities, meet new people, and learn new skills. The Legion helps Veterans in need and Honours the Fallen by organizing community events and volunteering to raise money through a wide variety of endeavours, including the principle fundraiser being the Poppy campaign.

"Whoville" Themed Christmas Party
Come join your favourite people for a Dr. Seuss classically themed Christmas Party. No one likes a Grinch (even though we are supposed to stay 39 1/2 foot pole’s away - sorry for the bad Grinch/Covid joke.) So come check out the festivities and maybe meet Cindy-Loo Who.

2021 Grey Cup Party
Come down to the Legion for a special event. We are opening up for the 2021 Grey Cup. The game will be on the big TV on the main floor as well as we have room upstairs if needed.

The 8th Korean War Veterans Day
Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Airdrie Branch #288 have been invited to attend The 8th Korean War Veterans Day which will be held on Saturday, July 24 at 11:00AM at the Cenotaph.
All attendees are to be seated by 10:50AM.
The service will be completed by 12:00PM and refreshments will be available at the Airdrie Legion.

2021 Royal Canadian Legion Annual Golf Tournament
Golf Courses are open, so that means we can golf! The Annual Golf Tournament was in question, but seems to be holding strong. Please contact us for more information as we get closer to the date. We will be looking for participants and sponsors!

Pantry Program
Airdrie Legion Members Pantry Program
June 9th, June 23rd, July 7th, and July 21st.
The Airdrie Legion has entered into a partnership with the Airdrie Food Bank to provide food support to our Legion members through their Pantry Program. We will be receiving bread, pastries, produce, and other items every second week.
